This project illustrates an SoC on a Nexys 4 FPGA, most of the drivers and hardware were created in the college course, but the weather detection program was written by us from the ground up which uses a mouse (ps2) to move a mouse pointer moving sprite to choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit, by clicking the mouse left for C and right for F. In addition, the OSD core was used to display different messages on the screen monitor depending on the temperature. The Temperature was taken using the I2cCore(adt7420) sensor. The monitor sprites (sun and snowflake) change as the temperate changes as well the color of the screen will change.
