Project created for my Microbiology class. Identification of an unknown bacterial species through the use of common laboratory tests. Includes the motility test, MR-VP tests, and more. The analysis was done on my own, the actual tests with lab partners.
The species turned out to be a harmless strain of Escherichia coli. The only true challenge was when the MR-VP test failed to give me results. That did not stop me from identifying the correct species based on results from other tests.
