This assignment was given in my Desktop Publishing class, a graphic design based class. We were asked to put together a PSA poster for a problem we had in the past that led to a fatal accident. The problem was that students were crossing the busy streets with their earbuds on without realizing how close a vehicle came to them. Our goal was to create a memorable poster that could be used to bring attention to and prevent this problem from occurring again.
My approach to this design was to create a poster that resembled the crosswalk sign to go with the message of the PSA, keeping in mind the four main elements to design: proximity, alignment, repetition, and contrast.
All work was done on Adobe InDesign.
