In this project for my digital illustration course, I created a presentation showcasing the different principles of design. I was inspired by different runway looks and used each aesthetic to explain and represent each principle of design. This project taught me a lot about how repetition, sequence, parallelism, harmony, transition, concentricity, proportion, balance, emphasis, and rhythm are portrayed through fashion design. I enjoyed searching for runway fashion pieces that illustrated each principle since I was able to apply what I learned in the class through my perspective and interpretation.
