For my Promotional Strategies class, each group had to develop a marketing campaign for a product that was going to be given to us. Creating a marketing campaign for Disney Plus gave me insight into what it takes to develop a well structured and successful campaign. I learned the importance of a unique selling proposition, the big idea, and consumer insights. The professor for the class used to be a brand manager for Jim Beam, meaning that I was getting real experience that can translate to the business world.
