Project Describtion:

Community 2.0 is a multi-use building that embraces an independent community which experiences a new version of living & human interaction of all ages & cultural backgrounds within one enclosure through it’s culinary educational activities and communal spaces.

Concept: ‘European Piazza ’

It‘s characteristics encourage interaction between the spaces. When observing it’s functionality its surroundings all serve the same centralized core. This is tied to the proposal in how creating an interesting centralized point where different activities are tide together while shortening distances, making it more appealing & entertaining to communicate. The also creates views from within, making it accessible & visible to all the activities in the program.

Problem & Proposal:

With the current pace of development in internet & social media, the human life is facing an era of social dehumanization due to the lack of meaningful and sincere human interactions.

The proposal is to create a “platform” where members of the community can come together to develop their culinary skills then join the culinary industry. Residential spaces allow people from all over the world to participate in the experience without worrying about housing. Community 2.0 encourages interaction by having spaces where people of common interests can speak and spaces for skills to be shared from all races & different cultural backgrounds.
